Today we’re celebrating 🎉 5 YEARS 🎉 of The Jason Coleman Show by revisiting our very first Sunday Show!

Our Sunday afternoon tradition began five years ago this weekend, on Sunday, March 22, 2020. (We didn’t even call it The Jason Coleman Show until weeks later!) Everyone was stuck at home during the early days of the pandemic, and we thought it would be fun to hop on Facebook Live and play a few songs on the piano to lift everyone’s spirits. Then, we decided to do it again the next Sunday, and the next… But never in a million years could we have foreseen the musical journey that would be in store for us. What an amazing blessing our Sundays together have been, for 5 YEARS!

To commemorate our 5 YEAR anniversary, today we’re rewatching our very first Sunday Show! (Including 2-year-old Avery’s first notes on the piano!) Be warned, the production value is zero (ha!) and it’s a little rough around the edges — we’ve come a long way over the past 5 years and 115 episodes — but what’s striking to me as I look back at this very first Sunday is that even after all this time, the heart of our show has not changed. It’s just our family and yours, sharing music and making memories, together.
