šµ The Lone Ranger
"Hi-Yo Silver, away!" š When Grandad would perform with a symphony orchestra, he was often known to close his concerts with this song... Some might call it the William Tell Overture, but to Grandad, and probably to many of you, it'll always be... the theme from 'The Lone Ranger.ā (Recorded on his 1981 album, The Best Of The West⦠a full album of cowboy songs on piano!)

šļø Family Vacation Begins Today! šļø
Today, Natalie, Avery & I are en route to one of our most beloved destinations ā Vail, Colorado ā for a family getaway, along with my Mom and Dad, and my brother Joshās family! We are very much looking forward to a week of being together and doing ānothing,ā surrounded by the beauty of the Rockies.
Vail is a special place, full of family memories that have lasted my whole life long. In fact, this will be my sixth visit to Vail in my lifetime, with my first trip coming when I was just a few months old! Take a look at baby Jason with Mom and Dadā¦

Then our family returned when I was age 11, then 17ā¦
Then in 2009, Vail is where Natalie and I spent our first week as newlyweds, on our honeymoon!

And most recently, in 2019, we visited Vail with Avery for the first time, when he was just two years oldā¦

We canāt wait to see what new family memories are in store for the coming week!
Because weāre taking the week to unplug and unwind, Everyday Piano emails will be on a short break while weāre away. Weāll pick back up next week once we return.
Also, weāve got an āencoreā episode of The Jason Coleman Show lined up for this Sunday, June 15 (see below). Then you can look forward to a brand NEW episode coming the following Sunday, June 22!
In the meantime⦠š¶ Happy trails to you, until we meet again⦠next week!
