🎵 I’m Sorry
Today I’m playing Brenda Lee's #1 hit from the summer of 1960, which also featured my Grandad Floyd Cramer's piano on the original record. While many today think of this song as a “Country” standard, at the time, it was considered a “pop” record and was actually never released to Country radio. But to me, that’s the very definition of “The Nashville Sound” of the early ‘60s. Is it country? Is it pop? Who cares, it’s just beautiful music! (Oh and can you believe Little Miss Dynamite was just 15 years old when she recorded this?)
