🎵 Prelude To Love

From yesterday’s “Mom Knows Best” episode of The Jason Coleman Show… In this show, I asked my Mom Donna to pick out every song for me to play, and to give me a story behind each choice. She did not disappoint!

Here are her words about this song, and about her Daddy, Floyd Cramer:

“Daddy played this song at his concerts. It was always one of my favorites. It was so fun to watch him straightening his coat, adjusting his tie, trying to look dignified playing a classical song. Audiences always loved Daddy’s sweet, soft-spoken, charismatic demeanor on stage… but I loved that they got to see his fun side too.”

Some may know this song as Chopin’s “Prelude in C Minor”, but when my Grandad played it, he gave it a special twist and called it the “Prelude to Love.” 🎹🩷 (Be patient and keep listening… the twist comes halfway through!)

Happy Mother’s Day and Happy Birthday, Mom… This one’s for you!
