It was May of 1997 when two Country superstars – LeAnn Rimes & Trisha Yearwood – both released their own versions of this iconic song on the same day. (Yes, the same day! It's a long story...) Trisha's was a huge Country hit, while LeAnn's crossed over to become one of the biggest pop songs not just of the '90s but of all time. Both records were nominated for Grammys – and though LeAnn performed the song during the Grammy ceremony, it was Trisha who took home the trophy. Of course, all of the success and accolades start with a great song, and this Diane Warren composition certainly fits the bill. Here's my piano take on this quintessential '90s classic.
