Throughout his career, my Grandad Floyd Cramer was known for recording his own unique instrumental renditions of the most 'current' country & pop hits. No matter what the era or genre, his signature style made every song smooth & easy on the ears. Grandad passed away in 1997, so when I play a song like this one from 2004, it makes me think, this is exactly the kind of song he would have loved to play if he had lived into the 2000s. His slip-note style would have suited it just perfectly! I can just picture the early-2000s TV commercial in my mind's eye, with him sitting there playing the piano, as the song list scrolls down the screen... "Floyd Cramer Plays Today's Country Hits!"
