Remembering Roy Orbison today on what would have been his 89th birthday. (Born April 23, 1936) The list of brilliant, groundbreaking, timeless Orbison records is lengthy, but here's one that perhaps you didn't realize was originally an Orbison tune. While Linda Rondstadt had the biggest hit with this song in 1977, it was Orbison who co-wrote & recorded Blue Bayou first, back in 1963. Happy Birthday, Roy Orbison!
