Playing a song in memory of the great Merle Haggard, who would have turned 88 yesterday. (Born April 6, 1939, and died on his birthday, April 6, 2016.) The Haggard guitar twang and the Floyd Cramer slip-note are sorta cut from the same cloth, aren't they! Those notes were made for bendin'!
